Boylan Condominiums have received Sir Walter Raleigh Award for Community Appearance.
The Boylan Condominiums have been named as a recipient of the 2006 Sir Walter Raleigh Award for Community Appearance. The buildings are located at the corner of Cabarrus Street and Florence Street in Boylan Heights.
The Sir Walter Raleigh Awards annually honor the projects and people that have made a difference to Raleigh’s appearance. Since 1983, more than 200 awards have been presented, for outstanding contributions towards enhancing the visual character, environmental, and livability of the city. This is Maurer Architecture’s 9th Sir Walter Raleigh Award.
A public awards ceremony will be held on October 26th at the McKimmon Center located at 1101 Gorman Street in Raleigh.
