Maurer receives Carraway Award

David Maurer awarded prestigious Carraway Award from the Historic Preservation Foundation of North Carolina.
David Maurer was selected by the Historic Preservation Foundation of North Carolina to receive the 2007 Gertrude S. Carraway Award of Merit for the restoration of the Masonic Lodge in downtown Smithfield and other historic preservation projects throughout the state.
Twelve Carraway Awards are presented annually to individuals and organizations that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to historic preservation.
