All Saints Chapel Restoration
Raleigh, NC
All Saints Chapel was originally built in 1874 for the Church of the Good Shepherd. It is designated as a Raleigh Historic Property and is a contributing structure to the Capitol Area Historic Square District. This is the second time All Saints Chapel has been moved. The Chapel’s new site on S. East Street is immediately adjacent to the Oakwood National Historic District. All 3034 square feet of the existing one-story building has been restored.
The News & Observer covered the story of the move on June 17, 2006.
The building is now leased by Empire Properties for weddings, meetings, and other community events. Click here for more information.
