Busy Bee Cafe

225 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC

This historic downtown Raleigh structure was built in the 1880’s. When the building’s brick facade began to crack and crumble, the unstable facade was removed and re-built. Maurer Architecture designed and coordinated its historic restoration. Under new ownership, Maurer Architecture completed the design drawings for a new restaurant and nightclub. The restaurant is called the Busy Bee Cafe.
