The City of Goldsboro will host the NC Main Street Conference in 2016. This annual event is an opportunity for communities across the state to join together in recognition of accomplishments and opportunities for future improvement. Maurer Architecture is proud to be active with the NC Main Street organization, and we look forward to next years event.
The 2016 conference is called Soaring with Main Street, and will explore innovation as an economic driver across North Carolina. From the event's website:
Attendees will learn how Goldsboro is using art to drive their economy, how they got a $10 million grant to do a streetscape project, and how, through public/private partnerships, Goldsboro's downtown is taking off with housing, sustainable businesses, property redevelopment, and entertainment destinations.
