Progress is being made at Trophy Morgan with the expansion project! Below are a few updates with accompanying photos.
Trophy (the original location at 827 W Morgan St) is still open for business on the other side of the demo space. Once the new taproom is finished, business will continue on the newly-completed side while the existing space is renovated.
If you’ve visited the current space, you know that there is a large bar area, with adjoining high-top tables, that offer a view into the kitchen window. There is also a side room with seating and additional tables outside. The new, expanded space will have a large open bar and seating area, with views into the new, enlarged kitchen. In the current space, the existing kitchen will remain as a prep/support kitchen and the seating areas will remain. The existing bar, however, will be removed during the phase-two renovation.
The addition on the front, left side of the building will be a foeder room for aging beer, and will provide additional seating and space for private events. This room will connect to the new outdoor space along the front of the building, which will include: covered patio seating, a large gathering area, new wide sidewalk, and plantings.
