Be on the lookout for the hair salon, Alter Ego, on New Bern Avenue coming soon! This space serves as a time capsule of Raleigh history, as it was a former dry cleaner established in 1946. Joy Worthy is finally here!
Outside, a historically appropriate storefront was built in place of the previous mid-century design. Once a medical office, the hardwood floors have been refinished and the space has been completely transformed to host creative workshops and private events. Take a trip down Wilmington Street in Downtown Raleigh to check it out!
Young Hearts Distilling Co will open this summer
Construction is wrapping up at downtown Raleigh’s first distillery! Craft spirits and cocktails, craft beer, special events, and great food will be the focus at Young Hearts Distilling Co, located in the former home of Trophy Tap and Table.
Our history with the building at 225 S. Wilmington Street began in 2008 when we were brought on to renovate the former Busy Bee Café. Although the building has seen some significant changes, the basic concept remains the same: to bring people together to enjoy delicious food and drink in a beautiful place.

Heights House passed a major milestone last week
Congratulations to owners Jeff & Sarah! Over the last three years we have been privileged to work with them to restore the historic Montfort Hall with all its unique challenges and special rewards. A diamond in the rough no longer, Heights House received it's CO last week and is officially a stunning success. Here's to a job well done!
City of Raleigh Building Up-fit Grant - Open to New Applicants!
Calling all entrepreneurs! The City’s Building Up-fit Grant is open through April 30. This is an amazing program with the goal of expanding economic development opportunities for the Raleigh community. If your business is inside the Priority Area, you are eligible for up to $25,000. This is a 1:1 matching grant which is to be spent on improvements, renovations and/or additions including mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing. Learn more here!
Steel Delivery on Wilmington Street
One of Raleigh’s most iconic patios is transitioning to its next chapter! A new roof top canopy is being installed on the patio at 225 S Wilmington St, formerly known as The Hive and Trophy Tap & Table.
Raleigh Founded
A few pictures from our project with Raleigh Founded in Gateway Plaza, which is one of several office and co-working spaces in the area. This space offers office suites that are different sizes to meet the needs of small to large companies, as well as conference rooms, open workspaces, a beer & coffee bar, break kitchen, and a few phone booths.
